Aurora
AURORA seizmic KIC is a two-year project under the EIT Higher Education Initiative that aims to make social entrepreneurship a permanent part of how the AURORA European University Alliance teaches, innovates, and engages with society. It builds on the seizmic APP, an existing platform for social entrepreneurship education, and connects it to the EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities: Climate-KIC, 28DIGITAL, and EIT Health.
The project follows four steps: aligning existing courses with KIC resources, adding an AI mentor to the platform, linking university incubators and accelerators into a shared venture pathway, and pursuing EIT-labelled programs. The aim is to reach at least 4,000 students, connect ten start-ups with KIC mentors, and support 20 student venture teams. ICN contributes its network of cleantech clusters, industry partners, and international markets to the venture pathway and to dissemination.
